Dana 30 & Dana 44 | 66-75 Ford Bronco

Drum brakes can only do so much, especially on a lifted or trail-driven 1966-75 Ford Bronco. This front disc brake conversion kit is designed to deliver a major improvement in stopping power, consistency, and confidence while retaining compatibility with both Dana 30 and Dana 44 drum brake knuckles. If you’re planning a Dana 44 swap down the road, this kit transfers over with no extra modifications required.

Kit fit perfectly on my 73 ford f100 4x4. Instructions were great and very detailed. Only a slight modification had to be made which anyone could do. Everything that I needed was there and nothing was missing. Truck stops a whole lot better now. Would 100% recommend!

Front disc brake assembly arrived very fast. Was packaged in very sturdy boxes and brake kit was complete and undamaged. Parts are high quality and fit excellent! Would recommend to anyone who wants to upgrade early Bronco to front disc brakes!

My front axle was converted to disc brakes more than a decade ago. The time came to replace the brakes and bearings; I figured it was also a good time to replace the hoses, dust shields, spindles, hubs, etc. Rather than piece it all together separately, this kit seemed like the best way forward. I am happy with my decision to buy the entire kit; it may not have been necessary but it sure made the job easy to finish. Thanks for offering a complete kit like this. I am giving only 4 stars because one of the dust shields arrived severely bent; something that probably could have been noticed prior to shipping. However, Wild Horses made it right and shipped a replacement out to me quickly, with a return label for the bent one.

This is one of the best disc brake conversion kits for the Bronco front brakes yet! I have done several conversions and this one is the top choice. Comes complete with everything needed and is easy to install, provided you have some fair mechanical skills. I was able to use the factory aluminum wheels that cam on the Bronco, other s sell kits where this is not the case. Well done Wild Horses 4X4.

This kit is the single best upgrade I have done on my Bronco. It makes daily driving much easier and safer. I would strongly recommend this kit to anyone looking to upgrade their front end in any way. WH makes this kit even easier to install with their strong customer support (I emailed Paul on a Saturday morning and he called me immediately to help me resolve some questions). I replaced my old drum brakes with the front disc brake conversion kit with the new wheel bearings. The kit came with everything in two boxes, one for one side and one for the other. Everything was there along with instructions and the shipping cost was not cheap, but it was much more reasonable than another Bronco house who wanted an insane amount to ship it to me in Arizona. The install went great and I am happy with it. I do not have a brake booster on it yet but was told by others that by putting one on will really make a big difference as well. I hope Wild Horses sells this as I have not checked yet.

I have a 69 with the d30 upfront. Everything fit great and had no issues. Bronco stops far better now and straight. I have rear drums and a booster. I also purchased the prop-valve bracket. It put it in the perfect location.

Really enjoy the stopping power of having front disk brakes. Kit was easy to install, however It would be nice to have more pictures with instructions. Kit is complete but you may want to consider replacing outer axle seals and U joints while you are in there. Better to buy ahead of time so your not running around looking for parts.

This kit is amazing. I had never even taken a locking hub off before this. After some initial hick-ups because of inexperience, this thing went on like clockwork. To the rookies like me, just take your time and after one wheel the other side will go on in an hour or less. Doesn't even feel like im driving a bronco anymore!

I thought the Kit was very inclusive and the only thing extra I needed was the wheel bearing Grease. I have a little trouble with my ordering information but Wild Horse's Great customer service cleared it up promptly by giving me a call and sending an Email. I got everything very quickly and Installation was a breeze with the Instructions.

Very nice kit - quality parts. It would be nice to have improved instuctions with some photos showing steps and completion. The customer service was, as always, great. I also added the Power Booster and Bracket - another great product. Unbelievable difference in the stopping power. I highly recommend upgrading.
