68-77 Ford Bronco Door Parts
In 1968, Ford updated the door latch mechanism on the Bronco. This required an all new stamping of the door. The door lock cylinder was now located about 5 inches under the outer door handle, just below the body line. Early Bronco doors in this year received several other updates as well including new arm rests, paddle-style inner door handles, updated window crank handles and more. In 1969, another change was made to the early Bronco door assembly when Ford went away from removable, bolt-in upper door window frames and started welding the window frame to the door shell. This was the last notable update made to the doors of classic Ford Broncos until the first generation Ford Bronco production ended in 1977 to make way for the full-size second generation.121 Items
