Bang for your buck — best leaf spring for your Ford.
“The team at WH4X4 did their homework on leaf springs. You could design your own for a perfect fit, but it would cost 4 times as much. These guys built a spring targeting a vehicle under 5,000 lbs — the right stiffness for a Bronco, not a one-size-fits-all truck spring. The ride immediately improved over the stiff off-the-shelf brand I had before. These guys know the vehicle.”

Absolutely Amazing! — 31 Spline Axle Shafts
“I twisted my stock 31 spline axle shaft in half going up a rock trail. I ordered the upgraded Wild Horses shaft — best decision I’ve made on my Bronco. Since then I’ve gone rock climbing and intense terrain with almost 500 ft-lbs of torque on 6 inches of lift and 35-inch tires. These axle shafts are bulletproof. Zero regrets.”

What a Difference! — Rock Crawler Coil Springs
“I put these in place of some old 3.5-inch Rancho coils on my ’76 Bronco. What a difference! I used to dread washboard roads or anything rough faster than 10 mph. Even with Rancho 9000 shocks I couldn’t dial in a comfortable ride. With the Rock Crawlers I noticed an immediate major improvement. The ride is smooooth. Paired with the 11-pack leafs in the rear — zero teeth-jarring.”

Top 10 Upgrade — RCV Dana 44 CV Axle Set
“Racing in Baja, I’m in 4WD the majority of the time and wanted a reliable, smooth, strong upgrade to U-joints — and this is it. Very smooth when engaged. Consider using the 78–79 Ford knuckles for an easier install. With the Chevy disc conversion and braided stainless lines, this is by far the most reliable setup I’ve run.”

Impressive — Hydroboost Brake System
“After many upgrades to my ’72 Sport, my brakes were okay but weak for real-world driving. I didn’t like the bulk of vacuum power brakes and have lost confidence in imported part quality. This hydroboost system from Wild Horses is excellent quality. Instructions were detailed, installation went smoothly. Braking confidence is now where it should be.”

Worth Every Penny — Disc Brake Fittings
“These adapters are worth every penny. After a local shop ruined both brake nipples on my proportioning valve by overtightening crooked double flares, I found this solution at Wild Horses. The adapters protect the valve entirely and made the installation clean. If you’re doing any brake work on an early Bronco, don’t skip these. Cheap insurance against an expensive mistake.”

Dakota Digital Dash — My Favorite Upgrade Yet
“This may be my favorite improvement to my Bronco’s interior. My factory gauge cluster had a lot of problems and restoring it was going to be costly — and even then, hard to read and poorly calibrated for my custom gearing and tire size. I’d been looking at this on Wild Horses’ website for years. The price kept me away. Once I pulled the trigger it was absolutely worth it. Everything works perfectly.”

Accurate Data — Game Changer
“One of the best upgrades I’ve done for the money. The speedometer bounced, the gas gauge showed ⅓ tank when full, lights were dim even after LED replacement. This gauge cluster is AWESOME — everything works, plus check engine light, trip meter, quarter-mile timer, and more. Can’t recommend it enough.”

Heavy-Duty Knuckles — Engineered for Broncos
“Much thicker and heavier than stock, already tapered for tie-rod-over installations — super handy. Be aware the tie rod attachment point is closer to the tire than stock, so you’ll adjust tie rod length accordingly. Instructions cover this well. These are clearly engineered for early Broncos by people who understand the suspension geometry.”

Stainless Steel Shorty Headers = Fantastic
“I own an EFI-converted 302 Bronco and finally replaced the cast iron exhaust manifolds. The Wild Horses Shorty Headers in stainless steel are completely impressive — top notch construction, perfect fit around my clutch linkage and starter, collector flange already had the correct bolt pattern. The power difference is noticeable and the engine bay looks incredible.”

Best Stainless Fuel Tank for the Early Bronco
“I’ve gone through two of the other-brand 23-gallon tanks and the Wild Horses stainless version is by far the best. Quality is superb. Bought the tank, skid plate, and EFI version. The skid plate is far beefier than expected. Tip: test run the fuel pump bracket assembled before dropping it in the tank. Once installed correctly, this setup is absolutely solid.”

Early 289 Power Steering Bracket — Perfect Fit
“My installation was on a 1962 F100 and this bracket worked perfectly. I searched everywhere for a bracket for an early 289 — they don’t exist in salvage yards anymore. Wild Horses was by far the best deal, works with virtually any pump, includes a ratchet slot for tightening and a universal long bolt. Clearly designed by people who understand these old Fords.”

Outstanding Customer Service — AX15 Kit
“I purchased a complete AX-15 5-speed conversion kit and picked it up in Lodi. The next morning I found a defective part. A quick phone call and a couple photos later, Patrick in customer service had a replacement taken from inventory and shipped. I received it less than 24 hours later. That kind of warranty turnaround is unheard of. Wild Horses takes care of their customers.”

Dana 20 Extreme Output System — The Wise Choice
“The only weak part in the Dana 20 is the output shaft — I found out firsthand when mine had its splines twisted almost a quarter inch. Since I was marrying it to a ZF 5-speed and lower gears, I wasn’t taking chances. The Wild Horses kit was painless to install. The included speedo gear set is a major plus since I’m running 35s.”

Saginaw Pump Kit — Worked as Advertised
“The hose provided worked perfectly on my ’77 Ford F150 Ranger XLT with a 351M. Some Saginaw pump upgrades require an extra fitting for the pressure hose — not this kit. It gives you everything you need except the return hose and belt. Installation was easy. Minor bracket drilling required but nothing difficult. Excellent product.”

Best Headlight Upgrade I’ve Made
“I did my research on headlight upgrades and the JW Speaker 8700 LED headlights were highly rated. After installing, I quickly found out why. Quality and craftsmanship were spot on. The light output is no comparison to stock — night and day. Ordering was easy, shipping was fast, and Wild Horses followed up to make sure I was satisfied. I’ll definitely be back.”

Flowkooler Water Pump — An Upgrade Worth Doing
“I installed this because my original water pump was struggling in hot summer temps. Surprised how much lighter this pump is versus the old cast iron one. I am amazed how much cooler my Bronco runs now — I can literally watch the temperature drop in stop-and-go traffic. This pump really shines at low speeds. Should have done it years ago.”

Leaf Spring Bushings — Great Upgrade for the Money
“Very pleased with these urethane bushings. High quality and installed without concern. Getting the factory bushings out of the shackles and leafs is a chore — an air chisel is the key. Plan ahead for the bushing grease; the included amount is modest but enough if applied as a light film. Great upgrade for the money.”

“When there was one set of footsteps…”
“This shifter was sold out nationwide but I found it at Wild Horses. I called to confirm it was in stock, got an actual PERSON on the phone, placed my order, and had it in hand within 3 days. Retail experience: 5 stars. The shifter makes for a more rewarding driving experience — shorter throw, polished look, and I got my second cupholder back.”

Beadlock Wheels — Excellent Product and Service
“I ordered beadlocks from Wild Horses for the free shipping. After ordering I got a call from them asking if the 2-week lead time was okay — even though it was already stated on their site. Most companies won’t notify you when your order is behind schedule. Wild Horses proactively reached out, kept me updated, and delivered exactly what was ordered. I will order from them again without hesitation.”
