Early Bronco Black Billet Aluminum Water Pump & Crankshaft Pulleys

This kit includes both the water pump and crankshaft pulleys for your 66-77 Ford Bronco. These billet aluminum dual-groove v-belt pulleys are designed for use on 289, 302 or 351W small block Ford engines. The double groove on these pulleys can be used for upgrading your classic Bronco to power steering or air conditioning.

Black Hard Anodized Pulleys: What makes our early Bronco billet engine pulleys stand out is the tough black hard anodizing featured on them. More than just a cool black finish - this feature also stops the belt from making grooves, a common issue with powder-coated aluminum pulleys.

Steel Centering Ring: We've ditched the flimsy plastic ring you find in other early Bronco motor pulley kits and upgraded to a strong steel centering ring. This steel ring won't get warped or come loose like the plastic ones, offering a more reliable fit.

Custom Made for Early Bronco: While they can work on many Ford applications, these pulleys were developed specifically for use on early Broncos. The 5.75 inch diameter of these pulleys is ideal for use in the 66-77 Ford Bronco. Also, the crankshaft pulley with both 3-bolt and 4-bolt patterns, making it flexible enough to fit most classic Ford Bronco setups.

Adaptable Design: Whether your damper has a recessed center or an extended ridge, our crank pulley adapts. It's hassle-free - use the steel ring if needed or skip it if your damper is good to go.

Go for an early Bronco engine pulley kit that's built to last, looks great and works seamlessly with your Bronco - our Black Billet Aluminum Water Pump and Crank Pulley Kit with the tough hard anodizing has you covered.

If your existing engine or pulleys might not be original, check for compatibility before installing.

Asked by Ryan, April 16, 2021

Q: Do these have the same mounting depth and position as oem 302 bronco pulleys? My older March billets weren't close and required a lot of creative spacing. I'm running a flow cooler water pump too if it matters.

1 Answer

Answered by sales - April 20, 2021

A: Yes, 66-77 Bronco at least. The balancer needs to have a flat face, like our #'s 8057 and 8058. If your balancer is different, and has a raised portion, where the pulley mounts, then the crank pulley will not line up, and be about an inch further forward. Otherwise, we would not expect any issue.

Asked by Phil, September 30, 2019

Q: What exactly is the potential compatibility issue with this pulley set? The current engine and pulleys on my 72 302 are original, but the harmonic balancer is not.

1 Answer

Answered by sales - October 1, 2019

A: The Harmonic balancer is usually the only gotcha. The pulley is designed for a balancer with a flat face, or mounting surface. A balancer with a raised mounting surface, usually pushes the pulley out too far. See part #8057 for example.

The look was great, but as always with a bronco some modifications were needed. The crank puller did not fit the harmonic balancer out of the box a little grinding was required.

Fit perfect and look great. Make sure you have the correct harmonic balancer or it will not fit, I had to buy a correct one.

Great set of double groove pulleys. I didn't want to go with chrome so these were perfect. Nice finish, quality feel. Lined up well, but make sure you have the correct balancer or they will not.

The crank pulley needed the anodizing removed to fit the new dampener making for a tight fit. Very happy with the product

Great features 3 or 4 hole on crank pulley, anodized for long life. Had other brands on FORD's and showed wear in six months. These are far better. Run true and no spacers, tuff stuff.
