Early Bronco Heater & Radiator Hoses

Your cooling system is only as reliable as the connections holding it together. Quality Early Bronco radiator and heater hoses are essential for maintaining proper coolant flow in your 1966-77 Ford Bronco cooling system. Over time, original hoses can crack, soften, or collapse under pressure, leading to leaks or overheating issues. Whether you're replacing worn factory lines, installing a new radiator, or finishing up an engine swap, choosing the correct radiator and heater hoses ensures proper fitment, secure routing, and dependable temperature control for your classic Bronco.

Early Bronco Radiator & Heater Hoses Buyer’s Guide | 1966-77 Ford Bronco

Replacing your Early Bronco radiator hoses and heater hoses is a simple but critical step in maintaining a dependable 1966-77 Ford Bronco cooling system. Old hoses can crack, swell, or collapse under suction, restricting coolant flow and increasing the risk of overheating. Whether you're refreshing a stock setup or finishing a full cooling system upgrade, choosing the right hose material and configuration matters.

V8 Radiator Hoses: Silicone vs Rubber

For 1966-77 Ford Bronco V8 applications (289/302), we offer both rubber and silicone radiator hose options. Each has its advantages depending on your build and preferences.

Silicone Radiator Hoses

  • Higher resistance to heat and pressure

  • Long service life

  • Clean, upgraded appearance

  • Include internal spring in the lower hose (just like factory)

Our Early Bronco silicone radiator hoses feature a built-in lower hose spring to prevent collapse under suction at higher RPM. This internal support mimics the factory design and helps maintain consistent coolant flow.

Rubber Radiator Hoses

  • Traditional factory-style material

  • Cost-effective replacement option

  • Ideal for stock restorations

If you choose rubber hoses, you will need to reuse your original lower hose spring to prevent hose collapse under suction. Be sure your spring is in good condition before reinstalling.

6-Cylinder Radiator Hoses

For 170ci and 200ci inline-6 Early Broncos, we currently offer rubber radiator hoses only. These are direct-fit replacements designed specifically for the 1966-77 Ford Bronco six-cylinder cooling system.

Early Bronco Heater Hoses

Our Early Bronco heater hoses are available as a complete pre-molded silicone kit. These are designed for proper routing, clean installation, and long-term durability. A pre-formed heater hose kit eliminates guesswork and reduces the risk of kinks or sharp bends that can restrict coolant flow to the heater core.

Choosing the Right Hoses for Your 1966-77 Ford Bronco

Before ordering, confirm:

  • Engine type (289, 302, 170ci, or 200ci)

  • Hose material preference (silicone or rubber for V8)

  • Condition of your lower hose spring (if selecting rubber)

Upgrading your Early Bronco radiator and heater hoses ensures reliable coolant circulation, proper suction resistance, and long-term cooling system performance. Small components make a big difference when it comes to keeping your 1966-77 Ford Bronco running at the right temperature.
