Asked by Garrett Miller, April 7, 2022

Q: What are the part number for the rear and front shocks as I would like to buy them separate from the lift. Thanks!

1 Answer

Answered by sales - April 7, 2022

A: The rear shocks are #Bil88011. The front uses 2 different shocks, one mounted in front of the coil, #Bil88121, and one behind the coil, #Bil88120. If you have a 4 shock Bronco, you can double up the front shock #'s.

Asked by Jeff, May 13, 2020

Q: I see a lot of kits come with Urethan joints. Are there also rubber substitutes? I believe they take a good bit a vibration out. What is the benefit of the Urethan.

1 Answer

Answered by sales - May 14, 2020

A: We do not offer complete rubber kits. Some specialty bushings are not readily available, and Urethane tends to last longer.

Asked by Rob Tharp, March 24, 2020

Q: Is this Bilstein kit available in a quad shock arrangement? If so, what other part numbers would be needed? Thank you

1 Answer

Answered by sales - March 24, 2020

A: We do not currently offer a quad shock option. Either you, or we could add the additional 2 shocks at the time of order. 1 each, BIL88121, and 1 each BIL88120 additional to this kit.

Asked by Joshua Howe, February 4, 2020

Q: On the 4 inch leaf springs will they attach to the stock housing?

1 Answer

Answered by sales - February 4, 2020

A: Yes, the new leaf packs will sit on the stock housing perches. Slight clearancing on the stock spring wedge is necessary with the new larger center pins.

'78 with 460, E4OD, 203/205 Doubler. Spring rates are well matched to the Bilstein shocks. Ride comfort is exceptional...think modern truck. What I like most is how the system soaks up the small bumps...progressive rate is the way to go. Only downside is the urethane bushings...my shackles squeak really bad at the frame mount and I used lots of the supplied grease.
