Asked by Anonymous, October 2, 2022
Q: I purchased a set (4) of The Gorilla Warfare flares for my 72 Bronco. I don't want to cut much of my fender. Are these the flare for me? Or should I go another route?
Thanks
Answered by ☆ sales - October 11, 2022
A: These should allow you to adjust the fitment. We would not expect an issue, but some trimming will be necessary. Best way, take one out and tape it up to the Bronco. Move it around and see how it looks.
Asked by Dewey, March 28, 2022
Q: I have the fiberglass flares. Will the Warfares fit without needing to do any sheet metal cutting when I replace them?
Answered by ☆ sales - March 28, 2022
A: You should be able to position the Warflares in the same or similar position to your fiberglass flares. Sometimes, it is worth a little trimming to get a better fit. Ultimately, it is up to the installer to determine. The size and shape are similar, but the Warflares are much more flexible.
Asked by Dale, January 19, 2022
Q: Can these War Flares be used to replace existing flares with 1/8 rivets holes 3 inches on center with the supplied screws?
Answered by ☆ sales - January 21, 2022
A: Usually, yes, but not always. The Gorilla flares are not pre-drilled, so you can make your own mounting screw spacing. If you are careful removing the rivets, the screws should fit the hole that is left. Worse case, you may need to get larger screws, if keeping the same holes is important to you.

Q: Can these be installed on fiberglass front fenders?
Answered by ☆ sales - October 26, 2020
A: Yes, though you may need to take extra care in mounting them. They come with self tapping sheet metal screws. You may research what fastener may be best in your situation.
Asked by Mike, May 2, 2020
Q: Can they be installed so that the hardware is not visible?
Answered by ☆ sales - May 4, 2020
A: We have not found an effective way to install them like that.
Asked by Robert, June 25, 2019
Q: Will they fit the 1977 Bronco with two gas tank filler flaps?
Answered by ☆ sales - June 27, 2019
A: Yes, they will fit with the 77 gas doors. You can either mount them lower on the quarter panel below the doors, or you can trim the flares and mount them higher.
Asked by Anonymous, May 22, 2016
Q: How wide are the flares?
Answered by ☆ sales - May 23, 2016
A: The flares stand off the body approximately 2 1/2. They are very flexible, and can be run closed in, or spread out to allow more or less clearance.
Asked by Gary, June 9, 2014
Q: Are the Gorilla warflares paintable?
Answered by ☆ sales - June 9, 2014
A: Yes, and the painting instructions you can see by clicking the installation PDF.
Asked by Eric, September 21, 2013
Q: Interested in your flares, do they have holes pre-drilled in them? And will they fit 90 ford bronco 2 / ranger?
Answered by ☆ 8578 - September 23, 2013
A: These are for 66-77 Broncos. They do not have pre-drilled hole. We do not have pre-drilled holes because that gives our customers control over the finished look of more or less hardware. If we do the install we typically put 3 space between the hardware.
