Q: What gauge is this piece?
Is this piece flat or does it have flanges to weld to the pieces it butts to (floor, kick panel, tunnel, firewall)?

A: It does have flanges on the floor and kick panel. The tunnel and firewall are flat.

I have a 1968 Bronco and needed to replace the driver's side lower firewall panel. The panel I received was warped and 3/8" - 1/2" to narrow on the transmission tunnel side, I only had 1/4" overlap. It took a lot of work to make it workable but it was not a good fit.
