Product Overview:
Typically, in recovery, there's a metal D-Shackle (aka Clevis, Bow Shackle, thingumajig, tow point or whatever you call it in your local dialect) that you can attach your recovery rope to. Yankum Ropes wanted to save the weight and provide a functional shackle as strong as steel. This 7/16 soft shackle is a single piece tow point made of synthetic fiber. It has a weight load limit of over 9,000 lbs and a minimum breaking strength of over 45,000 lbs! This soft shackle also comes with a red chafe sleeve to "double up" the abrasion protection as well.
