Q: How wide is this welting? I need some for a hood scoop we are re-installing after body work, and this seems like the right stuff for the job. Thanks!

A: The welting has approximately a 1/4 round bead, with a 1 1/4 of flat to secure it. It is about 1 1/2 overall.
