The Mean Green Alternator's tool steel rotorshaft is supported at both ends by heavy duty double sealed bearings. Even the heavy duty solid copper starter windings are sealed with high temperature insulation. These units have a 300,000 mile life expectancy and come with a 2 year unconditional guarantee. We use the externally regulated version. We recommend that you use our #6025 Battery charge cable when installing any type of hi-amp alternator.


This alternator fits in stock 66-77 Bronco V8 brackets (see #6007) with the exception of the alternator/air pump or smog pump bracket.
