Early Bronco Anti-Sway Bars | Front Quick-Disconnect & Rear | 2" Lift or More

Improve your Bronco’s road manners without sacrificing trail flex. This front and rear anti-sway bar kit is designed specifically for Early Broncos with a 2-inch lift or greater, delivering improved handling, cornering stability, and ride control—whether you’re carving canyon roads or crawling through campgrounds.

Up front, the heavy-duty 1-1/8" chromoly steel sway bar bolts to factory steering geometry and includes quick-disconnect end links, letting you unhook the bar for full front-end articulation when off-road. Out back, a 3/4" chromoly rear sway bar helps reduce body roll and rear-end sway—especially noticeable on lifted rigs with wider tires or roof racks.


  • Built for Lifted Broncos: Designed for rigs with 2" lift or more, with optimized geometry for lifted suspension travel

  • Front Quick-Disconnect Bar:

    • 1-1/8" 4140 chromoly steel bar

    • Includes quick-release end links for trail-ready flexibility

    • Works with stock and most aftermarket steering boxes

    • Compatible with most tie rod over (TRO) conversions (minor bracket mods may be needed)

  • Rear Sway Bar:

    • 3/4" 4140 chromoly steel bar

    • Tuned for street stability and improved rear-end control

  • Enhanced On-Road Handling: Minimizes body roll and cornering sway—especially on lifted Broncos with soft suspension

  • Trail-Capable: Front quick disconnects let you decouple the sway bar for maximum front axle flex

  • Shock Mount Compatibility Note:

    • If using #1407 Extreme Front Shock Hoops, the forward leg will need to be modified

    • To avoid cutting, switch to #1455 Long Travel Shock Towers for a clean fit with longer shocks

I put both front and rear sway bars on my 68 with WH 2 1/2" lift, soft shocks. I had body lean in turns, drifted quite a bit at high speeds in the wind and hitting bumps in the road. First I put the front sway bar on and what a difference. Bronco tracked straight down the road, even with 30 MPH winds. Minor rolling out of turns. Highly recommend. I can now drive down the road with one hand on the steering wheel. I later put the rear sway bar on and noticed minor improvements. This is not an easy install. Took me all day to do both, but worth it.

Nice product. Kit was missing two bushings but contacted WH and items were shipped post haste. Have tested on the road yet, but kits was easy to install and looks good.
