Full description

66-77 Ford Bronco 1.5 inch lifted leaf springs. These 10-pack leaf springs offer a softer ride & better articulation than the stock 6-pack or 5-pack early Bronco leafs.

These 10-pack leaf springs provide the rear of your early Bronco with 1.5 inches of suspension lift. Replace those old, worn-out rear leaf springs or maybe those new ones that jar the fillings out of your teeth every time you hit a bump in the road.

This listing is for a pair of Wild Horses 1.5 inch lift leaf springs only. *Please note these do not come with bushings. We highly recommend upgrading to our #1020 Extreme Duty U-bolt and Plate Kit to ensure you have all the parts you need to replace your old rear leaf springs.

It took a full hardtop, heavy duty rear bumper, a swing-out hitch mounted spare tire carrier with a 32" spare, and a rear full-width Garvin rack to achieve a net 1" lift. When I add camping gear, 10 gals of water, a full ice chest, and 180 lbs of dogs, it sits about a half inch high. Add the tongue weight of a small boat, you'd be down to stock height. My particular '69 has always had the "lean" to the drivers side, viewed from the rear. The frame in front was level. No amount of re-torquing C-bushings was going to correct a 1-1/2" twist in the frame. I would never recommend removing more than just the "one" bottom leaf. I tested the ride as a 9pkD 8pkP, and the ride was terrible and load capacity was lacking a true progressive spring rate. As a result, I'm currently running the full 10 pack on the drivers, and a 9 pack on the pass side, and stock height front springs. The bottom leaf alone will account for roughly 3/4" of lift. So far I've given them a pretty good workout, and they do the job!
