Constructed from A356 aluminum and heat-treated to T-6 specifications, these heads provide increased strength and durability. The 60cc combustion chambers and 170cc intake runners are designed to improve airflow and combustion efficiency, resulting in enhanced horsepower and torque. With 1.90-inch intake and 1.60-inch exhaust valves, these heads are compatible with stock pistons, making them a convenient choice for engine rebuilds or upgrades.

• Compatible with hydraulic flat tappet camshafts; maximum lift of .550".

• Not suitable for use with hydraulic roller camshafts.

• Recommended spark plugs: Champion RC12YC or equivalent (14mm x 3/4" reach with flat gasket seat).

• Requires hardened pushrods.

• For 289-302 engines with 7/16" head bolts, the use of Edelbrock #9680 head bolt bushing kit is necessary.

• 1.90" intake valves are ideal for use with stock pistons; 2.02" valves may require additional piston-to-valve clearance.

• Rocker arm studs and guide plates are not included with bare versions of E-Street cylinder heads.
