This bracket is designed for use with your 86-93 5.0 MUSTANG engine and original MUSTANG A/C brackets and our Sag/Delphi pump.
This bracket originally designed by Lars Pedersen is now available from WH. It's specifically designed for use with your 86-93 5.0 MUSTANG engine and original MUSTANG A/C brackets and our Sag/Delphi pump.This will make quick work of hooking up a heavy duty steering pump to your serpentine belt 5.0. It replaces and bolts right in place of the stock bracket shown above.
This bracket will not work with the Cobra 5.0 Mustang or A/C delete brackets.

Q: Is this bracket all steel? Also, how thick is the material on the front plate (where the pump mounts) and the reinforcing rib across the top?

A: Yes, the bracket is all steel. The front plate is 3/16 plate. The reinforcement ribs are 1/8 plate.

Q: Will this fit a 89 full size bronco with 5.0l?

A: If the engine is from a 86-93 Mustang 5.0, with the stock a/c bracket, then yes. Otherwise no.

Q: Q Does this bracket work with the Ford Racing A/C eliminator (part # M-8511-A50)?
A Yes it will work, but a shorter belt will be needed). The intended position also changes. Additional parts may be needed as well.
Q What model(s) of Saginaw pump will work with this bracket?
A There are dozens of P series models that will potentially fit. However you must pick one with the reservoir clocked at least 30 degrees in order to clear the bracket support.
