Q: how to install
Answered by ☆ sales - July 31, 2024 23:08
A: You will need to fold the windshield frame down, then lay the seal in the hinge and fold the windshield back up into place.

Q: What is the best way to accommodate the wiper wiring? Should I remove the wiring, punch hole in seal, and run wire through hole in seal?
Answered by ☆ sales - October 22, 2020
A: It would be best to punch a hole to run the wire through. Or, you may do a hole in the seal, with a slot leading up to it, to go around the wires.

Q: Does this go under the hinge, or in the middle of the hinge. Thanks.
Answered by ☆ sales - March 25, 2020
A: This seal is placed, in the hinge. When you fold the windshield down, the hinge opens. Lay the seal in the hinge, with the flat forward and bead towards the dash. The hinge holds it in place when closed.

Q: Does it need to be glued into place
Answered by ☆ sales - May 12, 2016
A: The seal does not need to be glued, it is pinched in place by the windshield hinge.

Q: Hi, just wondered how this installs. Does the round ball portion of the rubber go toward the hinge or toward the inside (seating area) and should It hang out past the hinge about 1/4 inch or so. Thanks!
Answered by ☆ 8578 - January 17, 2014
A: Round portion goes towards the inside. It can hang out so the round portion is not necessarily smashed by the hinge.
