Asked by bruce, July 14, 2020

Q: what would be the length and width of these as I have a modified bronco

1 Answer

Answered by sales - July 15, 2020

A: The ventilator is roughly 11 tall, 16 wide across the top edge, and 33 across the bottom edge.

Asked by Matt, April 27, 2014

Q: This looks like a great alternative to a hood scoop. How do these stand up in wet weather? Do the tires send a lot of rain through those vents?

1 Answer

Answered by sales - April 28, 2014

A: You will get more water into the engine compartment. No problem in most circumstances. Heat rises so the open hood scoop is one of the best ways to vent the air out. If you are wheeling in a lot of rain you would usually not have as much overheating problems. Anything you can do the vent out the hot air is going to help keep the rig running cooler.

Asked by Sam V, January 13, 2013

Q: These seem effective and look great too, but do they accommodate rigs with a body lift? Mine has 3 on it and I'd like to get a pair that protect all the way down to the frame.

1 Answer

Answered by WH tech - January 22, 2013

A: These are actually a trim to fit part on the lower section. This is done so that if can fit stock to up to 3 inch body lifts.

Fits great. I have dual shock setup with body lift and was able to get them in without much trouble.

They fit well and I was even able to squeeze them in behind the dual shock mounts. The airflow through the radiator is much improved, since I've got most of the space under the hood and behind the fenders filled up with a 5.0 HO efi and smog stuff.
