Product Overview:

When swapping a modern Ford 5.0L or 5.8L engine into your Early Bronco, you’ll quickly notice the block is missing the threaded hole needed for the clutch bell crank equalizer. This EFI Clutch Equalizer Adapter Bracket solves that problem by threading into an existing hole and creating a solid new mounting point. It lets you install your stock clutch assembly with proper alignment, keeping pedal feel and performance right where they should be.

Early Bronco EFI Clutch Bell Crank Equalizer Adapter Bracket

The EFI Clutch Equalizer Conversion Bracket is your solution for adapting 1966-77 Ford Bronco clutch equalizer to modern Ford 5.0L and 5.8L engines. If you’re swapping in a late-model motor that lacks the factory-threaded hole for the equalizer bracket, this adapter gives you the mounting solution you need. Precision-made to deliver solid performance under pressure, it allows your stock clutch equalizer bracket to mount cleanly and securely to the engine block.

  • Made for Early Broncos: A perfect fit for classic 1966–77 Broncos undergoing engine modernization.

  • Built for EFI swaps: Adapt your factory clutch equalizer setup to modern engines without compromise.

  • Bolt-on installation: No welding, no guesswork—this bracket mounts directly to the block using included hardware.

  • Fits 5.0L and 5.8L Ford engines: Specifically designed to fit late-model small block Ford motors commonly used in EFI conversions.

  • Retains stock equalizer functionality: Preserves factory clutch feel and geometry for smooth, reliable engagement.

When swapping in a modern 5.0L or 5.8L, this bracket is the ticket to keep the stock clutch bell crank in your Early Bronco - bolt up and drive with confidence.

I put one of these on my 65 Mustang after installing a new engine with a 98 Explorer block. The previous one I had was off by about 1/2". I like this one better because with some spacers, it can be adjusted forward or backward to keep the clutch linkage straight. Currently have over 2500 miles on the car now with no clutch issues.

This thing is great. A really good idea too! I looked all over the place for trying to get my 300 I6 linkage to bolt up to my 351w in my '81 F100..this adapter made it easy..easy to install..cheap to order..fast shipping! What more could you ask for.

Not much to this, but it made things a lot easier trying to securely attach a stock Bronco clutch to a 80's 302 block. It's a quality made welded tab. In my case I did have to do some filing, but I only used a hand file and was able to get it to fit with minimal modifications to my engine block. Drill the threads out of one hole, and file down some casting ridges, and I had my clutch bolted in securely.
