Developing the Best Performance Aluminum Early Bronco Radiators

When Wild Horses designed the first direct-fit early Bronco aluminum radiator, we had one essential goal in mind. It must be a "direct fit". No modifications or extra mounts, just drop it in the Bronco and bolt it down. For the first few years, we enjoyed being the only place that sold aluminum radiators for 66-77 Ford Broncos. The trend caught on due to the proven advantages in cooling performance of aluminum. Soon radiators were available from many sources.

All early Bronco radiators are not equal: In early 2005, we compared early Bronco aluminum radiators from six manufacturers and quickly noticed vast differences in quality. A few were kicked to the curb right away simply due to the visual esthetics of the radiator. Our original radiator was a direct fit, but that took away from the core surface and capacity. After considering all factors, we chose our current early Bronco radiator design for its superior quality and performance.
