Our Ford AODE adapter to the Bronco Dana 20 is 6.00" in length. The adapter material is 356 T-6 heat treated aluminum alloy, and the adapter has a provision to retain the original early Bronco mount. The adapter kit includes an adapter housing, new output shaft, spud shaft, retainer, bearing, snap ring, gasket, seal, o-ring, fastening hardware and adapter instructions.
The adapter assembly will fit any 1966-77 Bronco Dana 20 transfer case. T-style transfer case shifter linkage is required.

Q: How do you know which way the seal should go?

A: The side with the seam, will go into the adapter housing. The side of the seal with writing, will face the bearing, and be the driven side.

Q: Will this work with a t shift pattern transfercase pattern only or will it work with the J shift pattern allso

A: The adapter is not specific to J or T. We recommend twin stick- t-case shifters with all trans swaps for ease of control and installation. Neither stock shifter will work without modification.
