66-67 Ford Bronco Door Parts

1966 & 1967 Ford Bronco Doors

Doors for 1966 & 1967 Broncos are nearly identical. The only difference in these two styles of door is the location of the door lock cylinder on the outside of the door. Early 66 Bronco doors are easily identified by the lock cylinder being located directly above the center body line. In 1967, Ford shifted the lock cylinder up to be right under the door handle in order to make room for Bronco Sport body chrome. Aside from the lock cylinders, 66-67 Bronco doors are stamped completely different from later model doors. The door latch, inner door panels & handles, window cranks and armrests are all completely different from 68-77 Broncos. The B-pillar striker post on 66-67 Broncos is also stamped different from 68-77 Broncos. For this reason, 66-67 Bronco doors will not interchange with 68-77 model doors unless you also change the B-pillars which requires body work. One unique feature of 66-67 Bronco doors was their removable upper window frame which came off with just a few bolts.
