This is a perfect fit for my 1973 Bronco! Very happy with it. As it has been said in the forums, dropping the track bar and jacking your bronco up to get the suspension to sag was necessary to get the old pan out and the new pan in. Once I did that removal and replacement was very straight forward.

I was informed of this after I drove an hour to the store. If you are running anything other than a stock oil pump, you have to beat on the pan with a hammer, carefully, so it will clear the oil pump. I also used button head bolts to decrease interference. I have built 6 motors in my time and never use a stock oil pump. Always high volume. In my opinion the WH pan is not an exact copy of the stock pan, which had adequate clearance without a beat down.

The quality of the pan was very good for a easy and clean install. The dipstick may not work with aftermarket headers. Suggest WH offer a flexible oil dipstick option with the kit.

Fit on my 90s mustang 5.0 rebuild. Has dipstick on driver side. Took a little long to get to me. But I am on other side of the country.
