Our C-4 kickdown cable can be used to replace the kickdown rod on the stock carburetor. It is needed for the kickdown to work with the Q-jet carburetor. Can also be used with most aftermarket throttle body style EFI. You will also need #8268 bracket unless you are ordering one of our throttle cables at the same time.

Q: will the kickdown cable work on a elebrock performer carb.?

A: As of 11/5/13 we have not found a carb that can't be used with the cable. It will work on the Edelbrock carb.
