FIBERGLASS BODY PARTS
It is the desire of everyone here at Wild Horses to meet your expectations with the quality of the products we offer and with our customer service. Because of that, allow us to take just a moment to talk about fiberglass parts. We have never seen a "perfect" glass part. Please be aware if you are building a true "show" vehicle you will need to sand, prep and paint these parts. That's not to say you can't just take most of these parts out of the box and simply bolt them in place and run them as they are. Many people do, and have reported being very happy with the fit and quality.
We use a number of manufacturers for the glass you see throughout the catalog. We do not "splash" other venders' products. Splash is the term used in the glass industry for copying someone else's part. Our point here is that you may see a hood that appears to be the same as ours, but look closely at the features and descriptions, especially of our hoods. If you see the same hood for a lot less $ it's probably not the same hood. We understand everyone wants a good deal, just don't forget the quality factor.

Extreme Fiberglass Body Kit

Our Extreme Fiberglass Body Kit includes both the front end and the body tub. One look at our new Extreme Glass Body Kits and you will understand why we are so excited about adding these to the WH line up of quality products. Consider the facts. If you are getting ready to repair a rusty steel bodied Bronco and you don't own a body shop you could easily spend more than the cost of the Extreme Glass Body kit and a paint job. Then when you are done with your prized possession it begins the process of rusting away again. We have found the speed of this process to be a whole lot quicker than you might think. The fact that the Bronco is spot welded, in many places which you cannot sand blast out, means that no matter how good of a job you do you will probably leave rust behind in-between the body panels. Our own Nightmare Bronco here in sunny, rust-free California (ya right) underwent a complete frame off, very meticulous, seam sealed, and completely professional paint job not all that many years ago. It took about 4 maybe 5 years before we spotted the dreaded rear quarter panel rust bubbles developing at the body seam. Bottom line is - the first and best feature of the Extreme Glass Body is NO MORE RUST!
Check out these design strengths:
Original body lines on the hood, grille, rocker panel, floor boards and tail light housing are retained for a more detailed look.
Rear wells are taller and wider front to back than stock Broncos allowing for larger tires and more clearance for them.
Front and rear fender flares are molded right into the body for an extra clean finished look. People spend some serious dollars to have this done to steel tubs.
But wait, that's not all! The Body tub is reinforced with 1/4" and 1/8" Steel in critical areas such as the tailgate post, door striker and hinge post, windshield frame and hood mounting locations.
Add all this together and you will find yourself on the fast track to completing the Bronco project of your dreams!

Fiberglass Door Inserts

Our fiberglass door inserts are just the ticket to give your Bronco that original roadster look. You can use them with convertible doors, half doors, or no doors at all. They come with backing plates and mounting hardware.
The STC half doors install on the door inserts. They are quick and easy to take on and off. These will block a ton of wind from blowing in on you when you're cruising down the highway on one of those chilly days heading to or from your favorite wheeling spot. They come with frames and all the mounting hardware you need to install them. We normally stock black and bright white.
One Piece Door Inserts
Fresh out of the molds, our new one piece door inserts will add that finished look to any roadster. With only four screws to hold them on, you can make quick work of changing your rig from summer to fall.
The big advantage to the one piece inserts is the ease of installation and removal. There are no sheet metal backing plates to mess with. You can pull them right out of the box and install them without painting but, as with all fiberglass parts sanding, prepping and painting will be necessary to achieve a finished look. We include tread pads for the step areas. Tread pads are also available separately.
Important note:
Door inserts come with a white gel coat.
They do not come painted.

Snoop Doors Pair
|

Yet another option to use in place of your original doors. The new fiberglass Snoop Doors bolt right in place of the originals reusing the original door hinges and latch. Make no mistake about it, the finished project you see here took hours of careful painstaking work including sanding, drilling, filling and fitting etc. We think you will agree it was worth the effort. Snoop doors are sold in pairs. Hinges and latches sold separately.
