Q: If we have a fiberglass hood, how does the upper bracket attach to the hood? Also, is it the same kit for the fiberglass hood as it is for the steel hood?

A: The hood bracket is normally screwed to reinforcements on or in the fiberglass hood. The brackets are specific for either fiberglass or steel hoods.

Q: Being a vertically challenged guy....will the overall height of the hood in the open position be the same height or lower? Love the idea but don't want my hood any higher than what it is already.

A: Normally the hood ends up a little lower, than normal on a hood prop.
