Q: My OEM pump is going bad and wondering if this would this work with my current or any hydro boost brakes and with the OEM style power steering pump brackets?
Answered by ☆ sales - July 19, 2022
A: The pump will be fine, but you will need one of our pump brackets, normally #2039. This pump does not fit the stock PS pump bracket.

Q: What size port adapter on the high pressure fitting should use
Answered by ☆ sales - May 5, 2021
A: The pressure outlet is 5/8 -18 inverted flare for our pumps. Like F2964 to -6 hose or F2463 for stock hose.

Q: Looking to upgrade my 78 f150 400 with your saginaw conversion but I also plan on running hydro-boost and hydro-assist (eventually) so I'm looking at this pump. Can a fitting be used to cap/plug the unused return line until I need it?
Answered by ☆ sales - March 31, 2021
A: Yes, you may plug one of the return ports. A plugged hose or tube cap with a clamp should do the job.

Q: What psi does this pump put out? I have hydro boost brakes and am concerned. Also does this pump have a lower mounting location on the back of the pump? Most saginaws do, just confirming. Lastly, is this the same as your 2012a pump....the sag pump with dual returns and no pulley? This is going on a 1979 bronco with a 460. Thanks
Answered by ☆ sales - December 29, 2015
A: This pump is rated at 2.2 GPM, at 1100 PSI. The pump does have a lower mount point in the back. It is the same as our dual return.
