Product Overview:

These are the right or left stock caliper hoses. We recommend replacing both at the same time.

Built to DOT Specifications

Everybody claims to have DOT "approved" or "certified" brake hoses, but do they? WH felt you should know that the Department of Transportation has accepted and recorded WH's designation symbol "*359" which was submitted in accordance with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 106, Brake hoses. This symbol is crimped into each of our OEM style end fittings, as required by Standard No. 106 and identifies Wild Horses Inc. as the manufacturer of the brake hose assemblies you see here. We manufacture both our rubber and our stainless steel hose assemblies using state of the art equipment with the highest quality materials available. Bottom line is WH brake hose assemblies are made to the specifications set forth by the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 106, Brake hoses. Put our hose assemblies side by side with the generic ones from others and you will see a big difference in the materials, quality and construction.

Rubber Brake Hoses

Our rubber hoses are designed to be direct replacments for your stock hoses. Our end fittings are virtually identical to the OEM end fittings plus they are cad plated to add corrosion resistance.

Stainless Steel Braided Brake Hoses

Our stainless steel braided hose has a clear jacket with printed lay lines. The clear jacket protects the S.S. hose and keeps out the dirt and grime that causes ordinary S.S. hoses to deteriorate quicker. With each hose assembly we use rubber support inserts between the coupler and hose. This enables the assembly to function properly under constant movement and vibration.
These do not come with clips, if you need new clips see #3113

These hoses are the perfect replacement for your stock caliper hoses, whether you need them for the right or left side. We recommend replacing both at the same time to ensure even performance. Wild Horses brake hoses are built to meet strict DOT specifications, so you can trust their quality. Our rubber hoses match your original ones closely, with added corrosion-resistant plating, while our stainless steel braided hoses come with a protective jacket to keep out dirt and grime. Both options are designed for durability and reliability, making them a smart choice for your Bronco's braking system. Need clips? Check out part #3113.

Q: Do the lines have 3/16 inverted flare on the hard line side

1 Answer

Answered by sales - May 3, 2024 20:15

A: Yes, the stock 76/77 line has a 3/16 inverted flare with a 7/16" female fitting.

Asked by Grump, July 24, 2021

Q: Is this sold as a set as pic shows or sold as singles? Thank you

1 Answer

Answered by sales - July 28, 2021

A: The hoses are sold each, either left or right, and rubber or stainless.

Asked by Steve Lange, April 27, 2019

Q: Do these hoses work on F 150 knuckle conversion brakes as well?

1 Answer

Answered by sales - May 1, 2019

A: It depends on the front axle hard lines. These accept a
7/16-24 hard line fitting. We have other hoses available with the same caliper end, to a 3/8-24 or 3/16 hard line fitting. Part #3188. One or the other should work for you depending on what else was used.

I ordered this hose to replace another braided hose I had accidentally cut with the grinder . The new wild horses hose was a better hose and was coated.
