I have a 77 and am replacing the lower quarters and at the same time removing the reserve tank. I do not want to use the filler door for the new quarter. Will this part allow me to go to the 76 and prior style filler with exposed cap? I am also installing your 23 gallon tank with EFI pump. Thanks!
