What is the difference between this product and the 8672? Can this be used in a 1977 Bronco 9 rear diff?

Yes is can be used in a 77 Bronco. The difference is the 8672 is basically a stock replacement spring perch. The 8674 has the anti wrap feature built in by it's length.
