Does this fit with a family cage installed typically? No issues with the cage hitting the pad? Does the cage have to be removed for installation normally? Thanks

It really depends on the cage and how far forward it is installed. Typically there are no issues. You should not have to remove the cage for install, but you may need to move it back, or fold the windshield forward.
