Hi there, I was wondering if the short throw shifter will work on a 79 f250. I'm guessing it would if I went with bucket seats but I'd like to keep the bench if possible. The truck is mainly a winter, work, and light-offroading truck. I'm used to a short shift on my daily driver and I'd like to have that option on the 79. Thanks

You may be able to make it work for your application, however it is designed for the 66-77 early Bronco. Your shifter will need to either be 5/8 or 11/16 for the shift collar to fit. You can always try it, and if you mock it up and find it wont work, you can return it.
