I just stumbled across this Gear Banger kit. I have a 1978 Jeep CJ5 that the previous owner did a NP435 conversion in. I love the transmission, but hate the long throw of its shifter. Plus in granny or third gear the shifter is practically shoved to the dash. Would this application work for my CJ?

We have never tried it in a Jeep, but it may. You could always buy it and mock it up to see if it will work for you. If not you could always send it back as long as we can re-sell it.
