I am looking to replace my OEM tube which has a rusted out support. I am 99 pct certain my existing tube extends beyond the stop into the oil pan by 1-2 inches. Is there a reason this is not an exact replacement? I am concerned that other dimensions could vary too, preventing my oem dipstick from giving proper readings. Thanks John

We have not had any issues with the current design. Unfortunately we could only speculate as to why it would be different than yours. Feel free to give us a call if you would like any dimensions.
