Purchased a HI volume steering pump system 2074 with remote reservoir. The reservoir has dual return ports yet the installation diagram only shows a single return line connection to the box. I'm running a hydraulic assist, has been installed for at least 3-4 years, and all other lines are connected as shown. What is the second return port used for or supposed to be connected to?

Any reservoir that has two return line positions can be used this way. One for the return from the steering box and one for the return from the hydroboost.
