will the high pressure of this pump make the 4x4x2 steering box feel twitchy on the road at highway speeds? It seems like the pressure for Ford steering is supposed run at a lower PSI and GPM than General Motors.

Flow and pressure can certainly make for a more responsive feel. It is not a typical complaint we hear, but on occasion, folks do ask about reducing the pressure.
