Do I still use the spacer if I use your heavy duty axle retaining plate? The instructions appear to depict using the spacer with a heavy duty axle retaining plate in the last photograph. However, the first page of the instructions (the line drawing) makes it look as though the spacer is only used with the OEM axle retaining plate.

Do I still use the spacer if I use your heavy duty axle retaining plate?  The instructions appear to depict using the spacer with a heavy duty axle retaining plate in the last photograph. One spacer per side, with the stock or HD retainer. The HD retainer may leave a gap when tight. That is normal, as long as it is tight, and the axle does not bind.
