If we have a fiberglass hood, how does the upper bracket attach to the hood?  Also, is it the same kit for the fiberglass hood as it is for the steel hood?

The hood bracket is normally screwed to reinforcements on or in the fiberglass hood. The brackets are specific for either fiberglass or steel hoods.
