Being a vertically challenged guy....will the overall height of the hood in the open position be the same height or lower? Love the idea but don't want my hood any higher than what it is already.

• Do you sell replacement shox versus having to buy the brackets along with the shox? general
• Do you guys sell the ball studs by it self, I bought the kit but I lost one of them general
• If we have a fiberglass hood, how does the upper bracket attach to the hood? Also, is it the same kit for the fiberglas specs
