I have a 1974 with vacuum wipers and hardtop. If i convert to these wipers do i need to change headliner?

Yes, the stock wiper motor cover will not fit over this setup. Rather than having the hole for the cover in the headliner, we would change it out to the vacuum style headliner which covers all the way to the windshield.
