What type of minimal mods are you referring to? Should it fit fine with the factory power steering of a 73? Where is the input and output for the trans cooler located? Do you recommend pairing this with the flow kooler pump? I have a 351W.
Ron Davis Aluminum Radiator | Auto Trans Cooler | SBF V8 | 66-77 Ford BroncoThe lower radiator mounts usually need minor trimming, about a 1/4 triangle on the inner edges to allow the rubber insulators to spread open a little more than stock. With the standard inlet and outlet, the trans lines are on the passenger side. With the 5.0 inlet and outlet, the trans lines are on the driver side. The FlowKooler water pump is a great addition to keep your Bronco cool.
