Can I weld this kit to the existing stock roll-bar in my 71?

Maybe, if your existing cage is similar in design to our San Felipe, #4258, it should be ok. The 4259 ties into the main hoop, and support legs near the tailgate. If you don't have those, there is a good chance, it won't work. Check the pics for both, and installation instructions on our site.
