Good looking upgrade but did remove the original (larger) rubber stops for clearance.

very easy to install, uses existing holes. looks nice also.

Made a huge difference in noise reduction on my '76. One of my more valued changes made to the bronco, so simple.

Very happy with the product. Very well made. Little tricky getting the allen bolt through the tailgate catch but overall the install was simple and the instructions were straight forward.

My order came with no spacers included....Bummer. Once I got the spacers installed, there's 3/16 slop back and forth where the cable head attaches. My cable also didn't go flush with insert as shown in the PDF instructions included. It's more rattly than the stock arm! Matt @ WH explained its normal to have the big gap and the cable needs to swivel. A simple upgrade that's poorly designed. Like others have mentioned, you shouldn't need to modify something new to make it work.

T/G cables installed as advertised in just a few minutes and eliminated an annoying rattle.

Installation took about 20 minutes due to some issues with latch posts no lining up and complicating the install. Once on, the cables are quiet - no rattles from the tailgate anymore!

These cables reduce the noise associated with OEM supports. Definitely consider this upgrade. Easy order and quick shipment.

Cable installation was quick and easy. They operate much quieter than the original design. The cabels do not hinder the closing of the tail gate.
