Not only does the Billet housing replace your flimsy stock housing and provide added material and strength to the weak points, but internally, the housing encapsulates the steering rack ball screw on the passenger side in a manner that not only eliminates the passenger rack housing failure but reduces stress on the electric motor by minimizing steering binding issues.
