Pro Installation Tip: Removing the factory headlight knob and shaft on an Early Bronco can be tricky if you don’t know the trick—but it’s actually simple. Behind the dash, on top of the headlight switch, there’s a small release button. To remove the knob and shaft, first pull the knob all the way out. Then, press the release button and continue pulling the shaft out the rest of the way—it’ll slide right out. To reinstall, just push the shaft back into the switch. It’ll click and lock into place automatically—no need to press the button during reinstallation.
