Asked by Scot Ayau, December 31, 2020
Q: Will this kit work behind a automatic C6 transmission-D20 transfer case?
Answered by ☆ sales - December 31, 2020
A: No, the C6 to Dana 20 adapter is different, and can be found under # 8335. This adapter is not compatible with the C6.
Asked by Michael Benner, December 15, 2020
Q: What's the difference between this kit and item #8330?
Answered by ☆ sales - December 16, 2020
A: The 8330 kit includes a replacement output shaft for the 2WD version trans, which does not have the correct output shaft stock for adaptation. The 8330 kit will work for both, but the shaft would not be needed for a trans from a 4wd. However, the 8337 kit is for the 4 wheel drive trans only.
Asked by Wes, October 29, 2020
Q: I have a 2wd 4r70w transmission, what additional parts will I need for this adapter? Or what is the easiest/most economical path to convert and adapt to a D20?
Answered by ☆ sales - October 30, 2020
A: The adapter is complete. You will need to modify the crossmember, have a way to shift/control it, and have driveshaft modifications to think about. With the 2wd 4R70, this is the easiest most economical path.
Asked by Arvinder, September 7, 2020
Q: do i want to start with a 4WD or 2WD AOD transmission? which one is ideal for the conversion.
Answered by ☆ sales - September 9, 2020
A: We find it is normally easier to start with a trans from a 4wd.

Q: Will this adapter work between a 4R75E and Dana 20?
Answered by ☆ sales - May 31, 2017

Asked by Jesse, November 21, 2016
Q: Do you offer a crossmember that will work with this setup? Instructions say to modify stock crossmember, but would rather buy one if offered
Answered by ☆ sales - November 23, 2016
A: We do not, best we could offer would be an original, used crossmember for the Dana 20. It would still need to be modified.
