This is the clutch kit we reach for again and again—and for good reason. The Centerforce II Deluxe Clutch Kit is our most popular option for early Broncos running a 164-tooth flywheel behind a 289, 302, or 351W. It delivers a 60% increase in holding capacity over a factory clutch while maintaining smooth pedal feel and long service life.

Perfect for street-driven rigs, weekend trail runners, and lightly modified builds, this kit is built to take a beating without punishing your left leg. The full-faced disc uses high-quality friction materials, while the pressure plate features Centerforce’s patented centrifugal weights and increased static clamp load for rock-solid engagement when it counts. The deluxe version includes the throwout bearing, pilot bearing, and pressure plate bolts—everything you need for a clean install.

Note: You’ll need a clutch alignment tool for installation.

I decided to replace my old clutch when I was swapping out the stock three speed for a NP-435 and actually called the guys at WH's and asked a few questions about running the Centerforce II. They were more than helpful and since the very easy and painless install of the clutch, I have had NO problems.. The clutch is very responsive, quiet and reliable. I would recommend buying the inexpensive clutch alignment tool, to help out the remounting process.
