Trail use and rock crawling place serious force on the rear axle, leaf springs, U-bolts, and plates. Stock-style 1/2" U-bolts can be a weak point, and flat aftermarket plates with sharp edges can create pressure points against the leaf spring. Our Extreme Duty plates are designed with a routed edge that better complements the spring as it articulates, helping reduce stress at the contact point.

For trail runners, rock crawlers, and Broncos that see hard use, the Extreme Duty U-Bolt Kit is the best way to keep the rear axle and springs mounted solid.

Recommended Installation Hardware

We also highly recommend adding our Pro-Pack Early Bronco Suspension Hardware Kit. Reusing old suspension hardware can work, but fresh heavy-duty hardware makes installation cleaner, easier, and more professional.

When you’re already replacing springs, bushings, shocks, and U-bolts, new hardware helps complete the job the right way.

Leaf Spring Shipping Note

As is common in the suspension industry, leaf springs may arrive unboxed with the shipping label taped directly to the springs. Minor finish marks or paint chips can occur during shipping.

This does not affect performance. A quick touch-up with satin black spray paint before installation can be done if desired, though it is not required.
