WH reservoirs are made out of 6061T6 aluminum and are TIG welded. They are a work of art!
The 35 micron cartridge filter inside can be serviced through the new large style fill cap. Have a serviceable steering system you can do regular simple oil and filter changes on.

Q: Can this be used with any power steering pump as an upgrade or only certain ones?

A: Having or using a pump designed for an external reservoir would be best. We do not have information on converting a regular pump to an external reservoir style.
