This Disc/Drum Brake Proportioning Valve is essential for achieving balanced brake pressure in vehicles with front disc and rear drum brakes. If your vehicle has disc brakes on all four wheels, please see our Disc/Disc version, Part # 303704, which is specifically calibrated for 4-wheel disc setups and does not include a metering valve.

Each valve includes mounting hardware and an electric plug to wire into your brake warning light system, which alerts you if there’s a pressure imbalance between front and rear circuits—a possible sign of a line, caliper, or wheel cylinder issue.

This valve will fit the factory mounting bracket found on 1976-77 Ford Broncos. For a hassle-free install, pair it with our bleeder tool and optional fitting kit (sold separately) that includes adapters for use with common hard lines.
