Adjustable Lower Steering Shaft for 78-79 Broncos and 73-79 F150 pickups with stock column and stock steering box.

All the same great features as our early bronco shafts plus stainless steel pinch bolt joints. Both ends have 3/4-36 spline. Great for replacing worn out lower shafts and for correcting angle with a body lift. Shaft collapses and extends for a perfect fit.

A: This steering shaft bolts onto stock 73-79 F150 and 78-79 Broncos. The upper joint is 3/4-36 spline and the lower is also 3/4-36. No machining required at all.

Refurbing a '79 Bronco. Sloppy Rag joint on my steering shaft caused super loose steering. Purchased one of Wild Horses 4x4's Steering shafts. This thing ROCKS !! Had an installation question, called then, the staff member said take a pick of what you see as your problem, and send them to me, I did. 10 minutes later he told me what I needed to do to to complete the install. Couldn't be happier with the product, the staff & their customer service. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Great product for my 79 Ford 4x4. Eliminates the rag joint and play in the steering. Made with quality and strength. Fast shipping. Thanks

This is a huge improvement over the original "rag-joint" set up. The steering feels tight and there isn't the constant thought in the back of your mind of hopefully everything stays together. Yes, it costs more but can you really put a price on safety?? I highly recommend!!

Just installed the Wild Horse steering shaft along with a new gear. It was as described and works great. I have no vibration in the steering at all. It compliments the Saginaw type steering conversion kit I previously ordered from Wild Horse to improve the steering on my 1978 F150 4x4. I had the part at my doorstep in 2 days from California to Ga.
